Board Of Assessors · Meeting of May 6, 2026

Greenfield assessors confront Patriot database glitch ahead of July 1 billing. The Board of Assessors unanimously approved motor vehicle excise abatements at its May 6 meeting and identified a critical issue in the Patriot property records system where owners' full names display without spaces, requiring correction before preliminary tax bill mailing. Board Chair Jim Geisman, Member Charles Green, and Member Jeremy Ebersole conducted the meeting alongside Chief Assessor Christina Summers and Mayor Ginny Desorgher.

The Department of Revenue field review of the assessors' office came back unofficially fine, and Finance Department is now working to resolve a stalled revaluation assistance contract. Mayor Desorgher announced FY2027 board stipends of $3,000 for Chair and $2,400 for members, payable in lump sum either December or January.
