GREENFIELD — Board of Assessors delays FY27 revaluation due to contract budget not yet approved. Chair Jim Geisman, Board Members Chuck Green and Jeremy Ebersole, and Chief Assessor Christina Summers unanimously approved motor vehicle excise abatements for the period of March 18 through April 1, 2026. The department reported lot splits and Chapter land processing remain one month behind schedule.
The board discussed enforcement of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 59, Section 38D regarding misreported income and expense information, with fines likely to be enforced in the coming year.
