Board of Assessors receives 70 abatement applications

Greenfield Board of Assessors receives approximately 70 abatement applications during current season. Acting Board Chair Chuck Green and Board Member Jeremy Ebersole (remotely) approved prior meeting minutes unanimously. Chief Assessor Christina Summers said a revaluation contract is under review pending negotiations and reported that income and expense reports from commercial properties are arriving.
Permit software integration remains blocked by database issues. Board Member Ebersole has begun the 101 Class on Gateway, and the board convened executive session to discuss real property values and Appellate Tax Board cases.
