Conservation Commission authorizes electronic document signing

Greenfield Conservation Commission unanimously approves electronic signing on permits. The Commission voted unanimously to authorize Conservation Agent Jessica Siegel to electronically sign environmental documents on behalf of members, satisfying Registry of Deeds requirements. The Commission heard presentations on managing Griswold and GTD Conservation Areas, with a Forest Stewardship Plan expiring this year and last updated in 2016.

The Commission also discussed a potential partnership with In Land, a non-profit focused on indigenous land stewardship practices, to restore Canada Hill Conservation Area.
