Only one of 11 Greenfield property sales discloses a price in August
Greenfield recorded 11 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29, but only one, the July 31 sale of 69 Green River Rd. for $320,000 from Hedgerow Enterprises Inc. to Greenfield Savings Bank, disclosed a sale price. With price data available for just 1 of 11 deeds, the period's median and price range both default to $320,000, figures based on a single transaction rather than a broader trend. Three streets, Chapman Street, Green River Road and Summer Street, each saw two recorded sales. Seven of the 11 transfers listed a bank, credit union or mortgage-servicing entity as a party, though the data does not indicate why.
