Greenfield Conservation Commission denies stream bank restoration certificate over vegetation concerns. The Commission voted 4-0 to deny a Partial Certificate of Compliance at 290 Shelburne Road, with Conservation Agent Jessica Siegel presenting site photos showing stronger grass establishment in the upstream section; members Erika LaForme and Emily Boss sought more evidence of stabilization. The denial came as the Commission wanted to monitor how the restored area tolerates winter conditions and spring flooding before approving the project.
The Commission also voted 4-0 to elect Travis Drury as Vice-Chair, replacing retiring member Christin McDonough.
